I think every one who reads this book can take a little piece of it .. grow and learn from the messages within it!It has compassionate and relatable characters!!!It's light, free flowing, and it captures your attention until you've finished and the story remains with you that you immediately want to start the book all over because you're not ready to let go of the feelings you felt while reading... the connection to characters and the sense of losing your friends and you're not ready to tell them goodbye yet!!!I definitely recommend this book! For everyone who is going through something this book helps you to have hope that things work out and the courage and strength to get through it!!!
Suzie has written a wonderful story with her sweet baby, Bumblebee, in mind. Lexie and Taylor meet while renovating an old building, turning it into the Pet Boutique. You will fall in love with the other quirky characters in this story. You will smile at the antics of Cashmere and you may tear up a few times too. It’s a story you will want to finish in one sitting, so set aside some time to enjoy this one. I know this will be another chart topper for Suzie!
Mrs.Carr gives readers a brilliant story from beginning to end. It was well written, and we'll thought out. You can feel how much of herself and her beloved fur baby was put into the book. I couldn't stop turning the pages until I got to the very end. She describes a colorful cast of characters as complex, complicated, quirky and unpredictable in this book...The story it’s self (without giving away to much) is simply about ones loss, second chances, searching for what is important, finding meaning , love and of course, learning to forgive oneself. If your a fan or simply new to her work, I highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed!
I get excited any time I see that Suzie Carr has a new work out. This book sets the bar higher for other authors. I am not going to do a synopsis, the book description and other reviews have done a beautiful job with that. I will, however, tell you what it feels like to read this book... it feels wonderful!!! Like you have taken a journey and emerged the better for it. I want to know these characters and hang out with them. I want to bring Cashmere home with me.Suzie Carr has done a fantastic job with this book, the story is tight and flows seemingly naturally. The dialogue is intelligent, witty and honest. It is easy to tell this book was written with love.
Another great read by Ms Carr. I have yet to read a novel by her that I have not enjoyed. She knows how to develop a good character image and has excellent writing skills.I do not believe I need to give you details of the story because other reviewers will do that or the description of the book. All I need to do is tell you how much I enjoyed the read.I really do think that you will enjoy one of her characters very much and that would be Cashmere.I was given a copy of the novel for an honest review.
Loved Lexie. One of those rare characters that makes you smile. Makes you remember when everything is fun, new and exciting. When you jump out of bed, excited for a new day full kf new things. Loved Cashmere, Lexie's dog, who shared the same exuberance towards anything and everything each minute, each hour, each day. Their two characters who when they come into your life, you hold on tight, for without them in it, your world would be poorer for it. And Taylor who realized just that.
I have been waiting for this book for quite a while. And it definitely delivered! Once again, Suzie , you've given us a story filled with love, laughter and wonderful characters. I Iaughed, I cried, I didn't want it to end!
What a beautiful book. Suzie’s books are more than romantic stories. Her novels like The Dance and The Curvy Side of Life have depth and a philosophical aspect that makes them extremely interesting. The Pet Boutique doesn’t disappoint! It is a wonderful story with great characters including the cutest dog ever that takes you through through a rainbow of emotions.
