The poor rating is not to the content of the Trent Catechism, but to the poor edition. First, this edition is devoid of all bible citations that are present in the original text. Also, there is no index nor appendix. Probably the editor wanted to make an edition that was easy to read from cover to cover. I understand that, and probably the intention was very good. But catechisms are meant essentially as a reference, especially considering its number of pages. And the way this edition was put into effect, it does not serve as a good study reference. A final remark on the editing is that the margins are not beautifully laid. There is too much space in the inner side, where it is almost impossible to take notes, and barely space in the outer margins, where one could have profited from more space in order to take notes.I would give 5 stars to the Trent Catechism itself, but 1 star to the poor work of editing and all omissions (no index, etc.), so that 2 or 3 stars is what I rate this current edition.

Sorry but I noticed some typos to be of opinion :" lo of opinion " disappointing but I only paid $16 I should have looked more carefully at the other reviews won't buy this Edition again best thing to do is buy one that's worth your money even if you have to spend more sooner or later someone will put out a better paperback edition maybe with updated biblical references instead of the Roman ones anyway it is what it is won't buy it again.
