It's astounding that the author had the gall to call this a "low carb cook book". My husband has diabetes and these recipes would KILL him if he ate this garbage regularly. If he didn't die from the poor nutrition and lack of vegetables, then he'd get cancer from all the artificial sweetener that is called for in almost every recipe. I really hope people looking to change heir life DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK because it would be a terrible waste and their diet would become hopelessly boring. I can't believe this is a published book, every one of these recipes can be easily found on the internet, although the recipes you'd find online are much better than these. I am in utter disbelief how such basic, medicracy got published in a printed book.
I have spent most of my majority of my adult life eating at McDonald's and the pizza parlor, and I was looking for a way to eat healthier without having to become a gourmet chef. This book has me very optimistic about my future eating habits. It contains a very simple yet effective schedule for meal prepping, along with a wide variety of healthy meals that even I feel comfortable preparing. This is a great book for someone looking to make major changes to their eating habits.
I've been needing to lose weight for a while and I love this book!! There's great tips on starting to prep and even tells how to use a spreadsheet for a total list of grocery items. Nice tips on time saving tips for prepping is my favorite part. Very nutritious recipes that look good with lots of variety and shows nutritional information and calories. At the end of each recipe tells how to prep and store it. Overall this is a helpful book for beginning preppers!!

This book is not at all what I expected it to be. The cover looks great and really grabs your attention but inside the book there really is not much. No pictures for those looking for there to be pictures. There is no meal prep plan examples or shopping tips or good shopping list. No break down of what different foods are good for and how they may or may not help you. No examples of potential calorie intake you might be needing to consume depending on what your fitness goals are. If your looking for a book that just has recipes in it and you have $17 to just throw away then go for it. Definitely not worth it. Neither is the other book by Tyler Smith that he has. You’re better off YouTubing meal prep videos and using google save your money.
This book is definitely for someone that has absolutely no idea what meal prepping is. A real beginners guide. Love the recipes. The book will help you to get more organized in the kitchen and get ready to face the week.
