Possibly a good story had it been written properly. Punctuation was wrong in many area's s that you had to re-read to figure it out. Such as, conversation ran into thoughts, no quote marks. Very poorly edited if edited at all. Words we improperly used through" instead of "threw", several of these mistakes. I just found it difficult to read at times trying to figure out what was meant. Really, use your family jet in a military special ops? There was no story build up before they were head over heals for each other. No real depth in the story considering it was a military/war, if you will.
As a take my mind off of reality, work and stress this was a great read. Having served I wasn’t convinced about the military maneuvers, expertise, etc. It was a good read and I am looking forward to the sequel.
I liked this book about US soldiers rescuing those who can fend for themselves. The character development was good as was the environment (Baghdad). I loved the action, but I caught myself checking for grammar issues. I want to see more from this writer because I like reading about women playing an integral part in the military.
If you can ignore the poor grammar and the lousy spelling in many places you may enjoy the action. If grammar is important to you for making sense you can also wish for a revision after some concentrated work on it.
Good concept, characters done well, but the editing was shameful. The spelling of the most simple words were wrong. Cripple check next time.
I found this book yo be a surprisingly good read. I had not read anything by this author before so I was very happy I took a chance on it! I will look for more by this author.
I tried but I gave up after the third chapter. I was very disappointed with how poorly written this book was.
There are several spelling, grammatical and punctuation errors. The story is farfetched. If you're going to write about the military or law enforcement, at least have some knowledge about the subject. I tried to give this book a chance, but finally gave up less than halfway through.
